Durable SMART™ Health Card System
The VAXSYS® Durable SMART™ Health Card System employs key technologies to ensure that the card issuing process is quick, easy to use, accurate and secure. Paramount to the system is vendor 'ease of use.' On site, participants may be enrolled, key medical records integrated via SMART Links, and a personalized durable SMART Health Card printed–all in about 5 minutes. The participant's card may then be read at any location using any SMART Health Card reading App on the App Store or Google Play Store.
What Makes the Durable SMART™ Health Card Different
For Card Recipients, the Durable SMART Health Card provides a secure vaccination record in the form of a durable, tamper-proof plastic health card that fits in any sized wallet. As additional vaccinations and boosters are obtained, the data on the card can be easily updated; and, because it’s machine-readable, the card may be quickly and anonymously scanned by venues requiring ‘proof of vaccination’ for entry.
For Issuing Organizations, the Durable SMART Health Card provides an easily accessed vaccination record of each patient, with optional links to additional key patient medical data embedded in the QR code. The resulting tamper-resistant card includes a VCI Compliant QR Code that is machine-readable by mobile devices. Card issuance is quick and straight-forward, including patient identify verification, the download of existing vaccination history, and the resulting SMART Health Card printed - all in less than five minutes. With access to EHR’s is provided via HL7 FHIR protocols., the SMART Health Card allows language and branding options.
