Durable SMART™ Health Card Screening
The VAXSYS® Durable SMART™ Health Card System employs key technologies to ensure that the card issuing process is quick, easy to use, accurate and secure. Paramount to the system is vendor 'ease of use.' On site, participants may be enrolled, key medical records integrated via SMART Links, and a personalized durable SMART Health Card printed–all in about 5 minutes. The participant's card may then be read at any location using any SMART Health Card reading App on the App Store or Google Play Store.
The Card Screening Process
Cards can contain various sets of patient data: vaccination credentials, critical patient health data for emergency use (allergies, medications, conditions, etc.) and SMART Links to a patient’s actual medical records. For travel-ready proof of vaccination, and for businesses, venues, and public spaces, the standard SMART Health Card reader apps, available for free on the App and Google Play Stores, will read and instantly verify a cardholder’s vaccination status.
In the near future, EMT’s will be able to use the vital health QR codes on the VAXSYS Durable Health Cards to determine a cardholder’s critical medical stats, and hospitals will be able to use the SMART Links embedded in the QR codes to obtain the medical records of cardholders, instantly.
