SMART™ Health Card Implementation
The VAXSYS Durable SMART Health Card System is flexible and dynamic. It’s designed to connect to various EHR’s and health systems using HL7 FHIR standards, allowing patients to obtain portable and verifiable proof of vaccination, in addition to links to critical healthcare data they may want to carry. Cards can be printed in real time, while patient’s wait, in about 2 minutes. Alternatively, cards can be created and mailed to larger populations via VAXSYS’s web-based tools, and a corresponding high-volume printer located at an issuer’s central location.
Simple to Setup & Easy to Use
The system contains two main data component elements, VCI-compliant COVID-19 vaccination verification credentials and optional links to personal healthcare data that can be used to ascertain a patient’s information during emergencies. Both elements are contained on a VCI compliant QR code that is generated and printed on the card. That QR code can be read by any SMART Health Card reader available on the App Store or Google Play Store, providing easy access to a patient’s verifiable medical data, but only with the patient’s consent.
